Hearty Italian-style meatloaf stuffed with mozzarella, spinach and prosciutto, topped with marinara and melted cheese.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 ½ pounds lean ground beef
02 - 1 pound ground pork, or ground Italian sausage
03 - 2 cups marinara sauce, divided
04 - ½ cup finely chopped onion
05 - ⅓ cup shredded parmesan cheese, divided
06 - ¼ cup Italian bread crumbs
07 - 1 large egg
08 - 1 tablespoon minced garlic
09 - 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
10 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
11 - ½ teaspoon salt
12 - 3 oz package prosciutto
13 - 2 cups packed fresh spinach
14 - 2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
15 - Parsley, for garnish (optional)

# Steps:

01 - Heat the oven to 350°F and line a 9-inch loaf pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
02 - In a large bowl, combine the beef and sausage together. Add ½ cup marinara sauce, onion, ¼ cup parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, egg, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, and salt, and mix well.
03 - Place a piece of parchment paper or saran wrap onto your workspace. Place your pan length wise at the end of your workspace.
04 - Press your meat out in a rectangular shape, making sure it is not wider than your pan. Lay your prosciutto out on your meat, then place the spinach over the meat. Spread half of the mozzarella cheese over the spinach.
05 - Roll the meat up into a roll and place seam side down in the prepared loaf pan.
06 - Bake for 45 minutes. Remove and top meatloaf with the remaining marinara sauce and mozzarella. Bake for an additional 15 to 20 minutes, until the sauce is bubbly and the cheese is melted and golden.
07 - Let meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving. Top with remaining Parmesan cheese and parsley, if desired.
