# Ingredients:

→ For the Donut Bars

01 - 2 cups all-purpose flour
02 - 3/4 cup granulated sugar
03 - 2 teaspoons baking powder
04 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
05 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
06 - 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
07 - 2/3 cup whole milk
08 - 2 large eggs
09 - 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
10 - 1/4 cup pure maple syrup

→ For the Maple Glaze

11 - 2 cups powdered sugar
12 - 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
13 - 3-4 tablespoons heavy cream or milk
14 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
15 - Pinch of salt

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy removal. Melt butter and allow to cool slightly.
02 - In a large bowl, thoroughly whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
03 - In a separate bowl, whisk melted butter, milk, eggs, vanilla, and maple syrup until smooth and fully incorporated.
04 - Pour wet mixture into dry ingredients and stir gently just until flour streaks disappear. Avoid overmixing to ensure tender bars.
05 - Spread batter evenly in prepared pan. Bake for 22-25 minutes until top springs back when lightly touched and edges begin to pull away from sides of pan.

# Notes:

01 - The cinnamon adds warmth without overwhelming the maple flavor, even for those who aren't cinnamon enthusiasts.
