Snowball Cookies (Print Version)

Delicate, buttery cookies rolled in powdered sugar that melt in your mouth - a perfect holiday treat ready in just 20 minutes.

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups flour (white, spelt, whole wheat pastry, or Bob's gluten-free)
02 - 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts, almonds, or pecans
03 - 1 cup butter or coconut oil
04 - 1/2 cup powdered sugar or sugar-free powdered sugar
05 - Additional powdered sugar or cocoa powder for coating (optional)

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
02 - Combine the butter with the powdered sugar in a medium bowl or stand mixer and beat until creamy.
03 - In a separate bowl, stir together the flour and chopped nuts.
04 - Mix all ingredients together until a cohesive dough forms.
05 - Roll the dough into small balls and place on a cookie sheet.
06 - Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until lightly browned.
07 - While cookies are still warm, roll them in a bowl of additional powdered sugar to coat completely.
08 - Place coated cookies on a wire rack to cool completely.
