Crunchy pecans enveloped in caramelized brown sugar and butter for a sweet, salty Southern treat that's ready in just 15 minutes.

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups pecan halves
02 - 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
03 - 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

04 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter
05 - 1 cup brown sugar
06 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

# Steps:

01 - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
02 - In a large nonstick skillet or saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
03 - Add brown sugar to the melted butter and stir until fully combined and bubbling, about 2–3 minutes.
04 - Add pecan halves to the skillet and stir continuously for 5–7 minutes until well coated.
05 - Remove from heat and immediately stir in vanilla, optional cinnamon, and sea salt.
06 - Quickly spread the mixture onto the prepared parchment paper using a spatula. Separate pecans to prevent clumping.
07 - Allow to cool completely before storing or serving.
