A creamy holiday cocktail with espresso, chocolate and peppermint - perfect for winter evenings using simple pantry ingredients.

# Ingredients:

→ Base Liquors

01 - 30 ml (1 ounce) vodka
02 - 45 ml (1 1/2 ounce) Kahlua or coffee liqueur

→ Coffee & Dairy

03 - 45 ml (1 1/2 ounces) hot espresso or strong coffee
04 - 45 ml (1 1/2 ounces) creamer of choice (dairy or non-dairy)

→ Flavorings

05 - 1/2 teaspoon cocoa or cacao powder
06 - 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
07 - 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Optional Garnishes

08 - Melted chocolate and crushed candy canes (for glass rim)
09 - Cacao powder or chopped chocolate and coffee beans (for garnish)

# Steps:

01 - Gather all ingredients. Prepare your espresso or coffee, measure out the vodka, Kahlua, cocoa powder, and flavor extracts. Rim martini glasses with crushed peppermint candy if desired.
02 - Fill cocktail shaker with plenty of ice. Add all measured ingredients, making sure to add the hot espresso last to prevent immediate ice melt.
03 - Seal the cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for 15-30 seconds. Proper aeration creates the signature foam on your finished cocktail, so use adequate force when shaking.
04 - Strain into a chilled martini glass, add garnishes if desired, and serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - A delightfully creamy winter cocktail with notes of chocolate and peppermint that can be prepared in minutes using common pantry ingredients.
