Jalapeno Popper Twists (Print Version)

Flaky puff pastry twists filled with jalapeños, cream cheese, and sharp cheddar - the perfect spicy-creamy appetizer for any gathering.

# Ingredients:

→ For the Twists

01 - 1 sheet Puff Pastry, thawed
02 - 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
03 - 1 cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese or Monterey Jack
04 - 1/2 cup Sliced Jalapenos, fresh or pickled
05 - 1 tsp Garlic Powder
06 - 1 large Egg for egg wash

→ For Serving

07 - Dipping Sauces as needed (ranch, sriracha mayo, or honey mustard)

# Steps:

01 - Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - In a mixing bowl, blend softened cream cheese, shredded sharp cheddar, sliced jalapenos, and garlic powder until smooth.
03 - Roll out your thawed puff pastry to about 1/4 inch thick, then cut it into strips about 2 inches wide.
04 - Spoon a generous amount of the cheesy filling onto one half of each pastry strip, fold over and twist each strip.
05 - Place the twisted bites on your prepared baking sheet and brush the tops with egg wash.
06 - Slide the baking sheet into the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
