Juicy turkey patties stuffed with creamy cheese and jalapeños, wrapped in lettuce for a delicious low-carb dinner option.

# Ingredients:

→ Burger Filling

01 - 85g cream cheese, softened
02 - 85g cheddar cheese, grated
03 - 1 to 2 jalapeño peppers, minced
04 - 2 cloves garlic, minced

→ Burger Patty

05 - 900g ground turkey
06 - 120ml almond flour
07 - 2 tablespoons finely minced onion
08 - 1 teaspoon salt
09 - ¾ teaspoon black pepper
10 - ½ teaspoon cumin
11 - 1 to 2 tablespoons olive oil

→ Toppings

12 - 6 slices cooked bacon
13 - Lettuce leaves for wrapping (optional)

# Steps:

01 - In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, grated cheddar, minced jalapeños, and garlic. Mix thoroughly with a fork or spatula until well incorporated. Set aside.
02 - In a large bowl, thoroughly combine the ground turkey, almond flour, minced onion, salt, black pepper, and cumin until the mixture is uniform.
03 - Place a circle of parchment paper at the bottom of the burger press. Add turkey mixture to fill the press halfway, then cover with another parchment circle. Press down to create a well in the center for the filling.
04 - Remove the top press and parchment. Spoon a portion of the cream cheese mixture into the well. Cover with additional turkey mixture and use the flat part of the press to seal the edges completely.
05 - Continue the process until all turkey mixture and filling are used, creating 6 to 7 burgers. If forming by hand, create patties with an indentation in the center, add filling, then seal with remaining turkey mixture.
06 - Preheat a grill to medium-high. Brush both sides of each burger with olive oil. Grill for 7 to 8 minutes per side, until the internal temperature reaches 74°C (165°F).
07 - Top each burger with a slice of crispy bacon and serve wrapped in lettuce leaves for a low-carb option.

# Notes:

01 - These burgers combine the flavors of spicy jalapeños, creamy cheese, and savory turkey in a healthy, flavorful presentation.
02 - While perfect in lettuce wraps for a low-carb meal, these burgers also work well with traditional burger buns.
