Juicy smash burgers topped with creamy whipped feta, crispy bacon, and garlic butter on brioche buns.

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
02 - 4 slices thick-cut bacon
03 - 4 brioche burger buns

→ Cheese Spread

04 - 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
05 - 1/4 cup cream cheese
06 - 1 clove garlic, minced

→ Fats & Seasonings

07 - 2 tbsp unsalted butter
08 - 1 tbsp olive oil
09 - Salt and pepper to taste

→ Garnish

10 - Lettuce, tomato, and red onion (optional)

# Steps:

01 - In a small bowl, combine crumbled feta, cream cheese, and minced garlic. Whip until smooth and creamy. Set aside.
02 - Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels. Reserve bacon grease.
03 - In the same skillet, add olive oil and butter. Melt over medium heat.
04 - Divide ground beef into 4 equal portions. Form into loose balls and season with salt and pepper.
05 - Place one ball of beef into the skillet and immediately smash it flat with a spatula. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the edges are crispy. Flip and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes. Repeat with remaining beef.
06 - Toast brioche buns in the skillet or oven until lightly golden.
07 - Spread whipped feta on the bottom bun, add the smash burger patty, top with bacon, and garnish with lettuce, tomato, and red onion if desired. Cover with the top bun and serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - For extra flavor, add a pinch of smoked paprika to the whipped feta mixture.
02 - Use a cast-iron skillet for the best sear on the smash burgers.
03 - If you prefer a tangier whipped feta, add a splash of lemon juice.
