# Ingredients:

→ Soup Base

01 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
02 - 1 pound Italian sausage
03 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 1 medium sweet onion, diced
05 - 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

→ Liquids & Pasta

06 - 4 cups chicken stock
07 - 1 (9-ounce) package refrigerated three-cheese tortellini
08 - ⅓ cup heavy cream

→ Vegetables

09 - ½ bunch kale, chopped

# Steps:

01 - Heat olive oil in a large stockpot over medium heat. Add Italian sausage and cook until browned, crumbling it as it cooks.
02 - Stir in garlic, onion, and Italian seasoning. Sauté until onions become translucent.
03 - Whisk in flour and cook for about a minute until lightly browned. Add chicken stock and tomato sauce, then bring to a boil.
04 - Stir in tortellini, cover and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender.
05 - Add kale and cook until wilted. Stir in heavy cream and basil, then adjust seasoning if needed.
