Christmas Kitchen Sink Cookies (Print Version)

Versatile holiday cookies with endless mix-in possibilities, combining chocolate, nuts, oats and festive ingredients in one delicious treat.

# Ingredients:

→ Base Ingredients

01 - 225g all-purpose flour
02 - 113g unsalted butter, softened
03 - 100g granulated sugar
04 - 100g brown sugar, packed
05 - 1 large egg
06 - 1 tsp vanilla extract
07 - 1/2 tsp baking soda
08 - 1/2 tsp salt

→ Mix-ins

09 - 100g chocolate chips
10 - 50g chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
11 - 50g rolled oats
12 - 50g dried cranberries or cherries
13 - 30g shredded coconut

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
02 - In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
03 - In a large bowl, beat softened butter with both sugars until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
04 - Beat in egg and vanilla extract until well incorporated.
05 - Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing just until combined.
06 - Gently fold in chocolate chips, nuts, oats, dried fruit, and coconut until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
07 - Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing about 5cm (2 inches) apart.
08 - Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown but centers still appear slightly soft.
09 - Allow cookies to cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
