# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
02 - 3/4 cup granulated sugar
03 - 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
04 - 2 large eggs
05 - 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
06 - 1 tsp baking powder
07 - 1/2 tsp salt
08 - 1 cup caramel sauce, store-bought or homemade
09 - 1 cup semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
03 - In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture until just combined.
04 - Scoop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them evenly apart. Make an indent in the center of each cookie to hold the caramel later.
05 - Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden around edges but still soft in the middle. Allow to cool slightly before proceeding.
06 - Fill the indents with caramel sauce. Melt chocolate chips until smooth and drizzle over cookies. Let set completely before serving.
