# Ingredients:

→ Protein

01 - 2 large chicken breasts (or thighs)

→ Base Ingredients

02 - 2 cups white beans (cannellini or great northern)
03 - 4 cups chicken broth
04 - 1 medium onion, chopped
05 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
06 - 1 red bell pepper, diced
07 - 1 jalapeño, sliced
08 - 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

→ Creamy Elements

09 - 4 ounces cream cheese
10 - 0.5 cup heavy cream

→ Finishing Touches

11 - 1 tablespoon lime juice
12 - 0.25 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
13 - Salt and pepper to taste
14 - 1 tablespoon olive oil

# Steps:

01 - Season chicken with salt, pepper, and 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning. Sear in Dutch oven with olive oil until golden on both sides. Remove and shred.
02 - In same pot, sauté onion, garlic, bell pepper, and jalapeño until soft and fragrant.
03 - Pour in chicken broth, add white beans and remaining Cajun seasoning. Return shredded chicken to pot. Simmer for 20-30 minutes.
04 - Stir in cream cheese and heavy cream until melted and smooth.
05 - Add lime juice to brighten flavors. Serve hot, garnished with cilantro, extra jalapeño slices, or a wedge of lime.

# Notes:

01 - Adjust spice level: Use less jalapeño or Cajun seasoning for mild, more for extra heat.
02 - Make ahead: This chili tastes even better the next day as flavors deepen.
03 - Garnish tip: A dollop of sour cream or shredded cheese adds creaminess and balances spice.
