Ground Beef Hot Honey Bowl (Print Version)

Sweet, spicy, and savory protein-packed bowl with taco beef, roasted sweet potatoes and hot honey drizzle.

# Ingredients:

→ Protein

01 - 1 lb lean ground beef (93% preferred)
02 - 1 cup cottage cheese (low-fat or full-fat)

→ Produce

03 - 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and diced
04 - 1 avocado, sliced
05 - 1 yellow onion, diced

→ Seasonings

06 - 1 taco seasoning packet (or 2 tbsp homemade)
07 - 1/2 tsp paprika
08 - 1/2 tsp garlic powder
09 - 1/4 tsp cinnamon
10 - Salt and pepper to taste

→ Oils & Condiments

11 - 2 tbsp olive oil
12 - 2 tbsp hot honey (store-bought or homemade)

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 400°F. Toss diced sweet potatoes with 1 tbsp olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Spread on baking sheet and roast for 40–45 minutes, stirring halfway.
02 - In a skillet, heat remaining olive oil. Add diced onion and cook until softened. Add ground beef, season with taco mix, and cook until browned and flavorful.
03 - In each bowl, layer roasted sweet potatoes, ground beef, sliced avocado, and cottage cheese.
04 - Drizzle hot honey over the top and garnish with chopped cilantro, red pepper flakes, or lime wedge if desired.

01 - For extra creaminess, blend the cottage cheese before adding.
