01 -
Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and flour a 23×13 cm (9×5 inch) loaf pan.
02 -
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice until well combined.
03 -
In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in apple cider and vanilla extract.
04 -
Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix to maintain a tender crumb.
05 -
Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
06 -
While the loaf is baking, combine cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl. When the loaf is done, allow it to cool slightly in the pan.
07 -
Brush the top of the warm loaf with melted butter, then generously sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar mixture to create a crust.
08 -
Allow to cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan. Slice and serve warm for the best donut-like experience.
